蔡英文提到，國道收費員畢竟是政府應該要扛起的責任，政府必須要求企業扛起這個責任，這件事要積極處理，沒有理由讓國道收費員自己抗爭這麼久；過去民進黨不是執政者，可以做的比較有限，希望1月16日讓她有做更多事情的機會。
